SCHEDULE FOR PURCHASING ARA AIR TICKETS
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE MUST HAVE YOUR FLIGHT/TRAIN
SCHEDULE SO THAT WE CAN PICK YOU UP! VERY IMPORTANT!
1) If you are on option #1, purchase your air ticket to Russia, leaving the USA on January 20th, 2012. Your return from Russia should be on April 22nd, 2012.
2) If you are on option #2, first summer session only, language program at St. Petersburg State, purchase your
air ticket to St. Petersburg, leaving the USA on May 26th, 2012. Your return from St. Petersburg should be on June 30th, 2012.
3) If you are on option #4, first summer session at St. Petersburg State, followed by the 2nd summer session
language program in Moscow, purchase your air ticket to St. Petersburg, leaving the USA on May 26th, 2012. Your
return should be from MOSCOW on August 5th, 2012.
4) If you are on option #2a, first summer session only, language program at GRINT in Moscow, purchase your air
ticket to Moscow, leaving the USA on May 26th, 2012. Your return should be from Moscow on June 30th, 2012.
Note !!! Option #2 fly into/out of St. Petersburg; Option #2a fly into/out of Moscow.
5) If you are on option #5 or #5a, language or internship programs at GRINT in Moscow, summer sessions one and
two, purchase your air ticket to Moscow, leaving the USA on May 26th, 2012. Your return should be from Moscow on
August 5th, 2012.
6) If you are on option #3, language program in Moscow at GRINT, second summer session only, purchase your
ticket to Moscow, leaving the USA on June 30th, 2012. Your return should be from Moscow on August 5th, 2012.
7) If you are on option #6, fall semester only language/internship program at GRINT in Moscow, purchase your
ticket to Moscow, leaving the USA on September 8th, 2012. Your return should be from Moscow on December 8th, 2012.
8) If you are on option #7, the spring semester of 2013, purchase your ticket to Russia, leaving the USA on January 18th, 2012. Your return should be from Russia on April 20th, 2013.
ALTERNATIVES IF ALL ELSE FALLS AND SEATS ARE SOLD OUT!
You can get to St. Petersburg lots of ways, for example, on Aeroflot, British Air, Lufthansa, Czech Air, Air
France, and others. Unfortunatly, no American carrier presently serves St. Petersburg. An alternate method
would be, if necessary, to fly to Moscow and take the train or fly back to St. Petersburg.
1) If you are going to St. Petersburg and all tickets are sold out buy a ticket to Moscow and take the train
back to St. Petersburg. We will help you!
2) If you are going to St. Petersburg and all the tickets are sold out buy a ticket to Helsinki, Finland and
take the train to St. Petersburg. We will pick you up!
3) If you are going to St. Petersburg and all the tickets are sold out buy a ticket to Stockholm. Take the ferry
to Helsinki and the train to St. Petersburg.
